the Woippy rail yard for Hexafret, a subsidiary of the SNCF group, which

during a demonstration, Ludo was photographed with a torch. He will be 
arrested at his home, and his residence will be searched. ---- But let's 
be clear: professionally, there is nothing. Nothing that justifies such 
a decision. Even his local managers say so: Ludo does his job properly. 
He hasn't done anything wrong. He's never even had to justify himself.

So why this relentless persecution?

Because of a letter from the Ministry of the Interior. A letter that 
mentions an alleged incompatibility between his job and his political 
beliefs.

Ludo was initially suspended as a precautionary measure and barred from 
his workplace in November 2025. This measure followed a police 
administrative investigation that examined his activist and union 
activities.

Now, they want us to believe that having convictions is a problem. That 
having values is a danger.

At SUD-Rail, we reject a society where you have to be docile to work. We 
reject a society where commitment is punished. We reject a society where 
workers are sorted according to their ideas. Do we still have the right 
to think? Do we still have the right to be involved?

Our colleague has filed an appeal regarding the admissibility of the 
administrative inquiry with the Strasbourg court. This case is currently 
under appeal, and we cannot believe an unfavorable decision will be 
handed down, given the lack of evidence against Ludo.

However, Hexafret did not wait for the court's final ruling: Ludo's 
dismissal was issued abruptly and incomprehensibly, without regard for 
the legal framework of the labor code. How can we fail to see the 
political pressure exerted by the Ministry of the Interior to impose its 
decisions on a company?

The fight continues. We gathered on May 6th at the Woippy sorting 
center: More than 120 people-colleagues, union members, and 
activists-showed their support that day in front of the Hexafret local 
management building.

We do not intend to let this go. Because attacking Ludo is attacking us 
all, we will not give in. Because solidarity isn't just a word, it's a 
commitment: We will not allow a politically motivated dismissal!

SUD-Rail's action has already had an impact on this case: Ludo's 
dismissal has now been suspended by the company, which is awaiting the 
decision of the administrative appeal.
