(en) Italy, Sicilia, Anarchist May Day in Ragusa: a short story of the day by blogfas (ca, de, it, pt, tr) [machine translation]

Date Fri, 13 Jun 2025 09:03:15 +0300

The Anarchist May Day celebrated by FAS (SICILIAN ANARCHIST FEDERATION) in Ragusa saw a lot of participation and a wide involvement of friends, comrades and solidarity groups. During the rally in Piazza San Giovanni, with their speeches several comrades brought and shared various current issues, from war to prisons, from the recent security decree to the high cost of living. The event received the solidarity support and participation of the No MUOS Movement as well as representatives of the No War Assembly of Palermo and the Italian Anarchist Federation.
At the end of the meeting in the square, the appointment continued in the historic headquarters of FAS, where many people met for a convivial lunch. The day ended pleasantly in Modica at the Laveronica art gallery with the inauguration and visit of the exhibition "Ma avuto la rivolta tra le dita", set up with the works of the artist and companion Renato Spagnoli. The exhibition is open to the public and can be visited until July 24th.
