The night of Saturday, June 28, 2025, transformed Oldskull Bar into much
more than a stage-it was a vibrant sonic trench, a pulsating free
territory in the heart of Vila Velha, Espírito Santo. As called by the
Anarchist Federation of Espírito Santo (FACA), comrades turned out in
large numbers, occupying the streets and erecting a powerful barricade
of sound against the rottenness of the State and the creaking of the old
capitalist machine. The event was an undeniable success, marked by raw
energy and libertarian fury. The piercing chords of Punk Rock and
Hardcore were not mere musical notes; they were bricks ripped from the
walls of oppression, each song an incendiary manifesto against
domestication and conformity. The air vibrated with the intensity of
direct action in sound waves, transforming the space into a veritable
cultural battlefield.
More than a show, it was an act of collective resistance. The
anti-fascist and anti-capitalist cry echoed loud and clear once again,
breaking the chains of boredom and searing ears with its visceral
refusal to be governed. Under the unwavering slogan "WITHOUT GOD,
WITHOUT A BOSS!", the people showed that, from the ruins of conformity,
only a punch in the gut of the system can rise.
The Anarchist Federation of Espírito Santo (FACA) reaffirms: there will
be no truce in the streets. This past Saturday's event/demonstration is
living proof that the struggle continues, loud and tireless. The
barricades are standing!
