This Friday, March 1, at around 6:30 p.m., a person pulled the pin then 
threw a smoke bomb inside the Publico bookstore in Paris, shouting an 
incomprehensible sentence, then fled on a bicycle. Fortunately no one 
was injured and even though the smoke bomb filled the entire bookstore 
with smoke, it caused no damage. ---- A sticker from the small group 
"Les Natifs", a small Parisian group which was set up after the

But it does not stop there. This Wednesday, March 6, at around 6 p.m., 
while a friend turned his back to the street to close the door of the 
bookstore, a projectile thrown a few meters from him broke on the 
sidewalk. Fortunately he was not hit, but this makes us think that this 
incident is linked to the previous one.

These attacks claimed by this small Parisian identity group should not 
fool us. These events occur at a time when far-right discourse in France 
is uninhibited and more than present in public debate. TV channels like 
Cnews, BFM, C8... spout racist speeches, anti-social and reactionary 
propaganda all day long.

The RN, enemy of workers and the working classes, is completely 
demonized to be considered a "normal" party on the political spectrum. 
Recently, the despicable "immigration" law, the reform project on land 
law, or even the ban on the abaya at school, help to legitimize and open 
the way to fascist currents. And all this is obviously accompanied by a 
strengthening of social inequalities.

The Anarchist Federation affirms its solidarity with the comrades 
attacked at the Publico bookstore this week but also wishes to reaffirm 
its solidarity with all the people who suffer the violence of the 
extreme right and/or the racist policies of the State, particularly 
racialized people and migrants.

The Anarchist Federation reaffirms its desire and its action to 
strengthen the anti-fascist struggle, particularly through its local 
groups and its federal anti-fascist campaign!

Wherever necessary, let's organize ourselves for self-defense and 
collective struggle against reactionary and identity politics!
