take financial literacy classes. Wow!
And the Minister of National Education, a certain Édouard Geffray, 
gushes about this reform which, he says, "will give young people the 
basics of economics so they can avoid debt and know how to manage their 
budgets."

It was also the Minister of the Economy, the incomparable Lescure, who, 
in turn, expressed "his complete satisfaction with this reform" and 
mentioned "an urgent need to better educate the population on budgeting 
and finance."

These two virtuosos of manipulation do not hesitate to use the public 
education system as a tool for multinational credit corporations, banks, 
and consumer behemoths.

Their aim is to mold minds and, above all, to make the French feel 
guilty for not knowing how to manage their money, while ignoring who is 
responsible for the precariousness, poverty, and misery in the country.

The real culprits

But good heavens, the culprits are known. They are all the politicians 
who have held sway in the various governments (right, left, and center) 
for ages. They voted and passed laws, each more wicked and anti-social 
than the last, to keep the people completely dependent on the power of 
financial predators.

These manipulators, in implementing this sham of a school curriculum, 
relied on a study (sic) by the CSA polling institute that highlighted 
the precarious financial situation of French people who were going into 
debt... This planted the seed in these pea-sized brains of this idea, 
completely disconnected from reality: "How to manage a budget and fight 
debt?"

Starting in 8th grade, the lessons will cover very concrete mechanisms 
such as how credit works and how to actively protect yourself against 
scammers.

Liars and swindlers!

You don't need a course to protect yourself from scammers; they're 
well-known. Here are a few examples:

Politicians keep workers in a state of abject poverty. Students are 
forced to take out loans to pay for their tuition, and 78% of students 
receive food assistance (from food banks, soup kitchens, etc.) and live 
on less than EUR100 a month after paying rent.

Bankers offer loans to these same workers with exorbitant monthly 
payments and interest charges because their salaries are insufficient to 
make ends meet, often by the 15th of the month. Sometimes, even at the 
beginning of the month, their salary isn't enough to cover the loan 
repayments. This doesn't stop these scammers from charging account 
management fees when workers can't repay on time...

Insurance companies and mutuals don't hesitate to regularly increase 
monthly premiums for health insurance and other types of coverage...

Consumer giants:

- push credit with demagogic advertising such as: buy today and pay in 
three months. It's a case of taking a step back to take a bigger leap 
forward.

- offer vacations on credit. The previous year's vacations are barely 
paid for before you have to take out another loan for the upcoming ones. 
The consumer is caught in a stranglehold.

- offer Christmas deals where you can "buy your gifts and only pay for 
them in six months."

These politicians, in their school reform, are pushing the envelope to 
the point of indecency by offering a course on "how to save." They have 
some nerve when the wallets of more than 12 million French people are 
practically empty.

This reform is in no way a way to help:

- the 12 million people and workers living below the poverty line on 
less than EUR1,288 per month,

- the 600,000 people struggling with debt (Bank of France figures),

- the 4 million recipients of the RSA (minimum income benefit) who live 
lavishly on EUR651.69 per month;

- the recipients of the disability allowance for adults who live 
comfortably on a maximum of EUR1,041.59 per month. In most cases, it's 
much less.

- the recipients of the adult solidarity allowance who, despite being 
well-off, feast on EUR1,043.59 per month in the best-case scenario;

- the recipients of the specific allowance who live comfortably on 
EUR19.48 per day;

- to the asylum seeker benefit recipients who are partying with 6.80 
euros a day.

Shame on you, you swindlers and self-righteous moralizers. You are not 
worthy of existence. You lack the political and social courage to stand 
up to the billionaires of finance and consumerism. Your political and 
social choices are class choices. You are nothing but doormats, 
sycophants, bowing down to your bosses.

I regret that your devotion to capitalism doesn't kill you, because you 
don't even deserve the rope that will hang you.

You are despicable people. Seeing you, hearing you, makes me sick. It is 
high time that all these millions of people you keep in your net revolt 
and take their destiny into their own hands.
