Dear Free Radio Broadcasters and Grassroots Radio Folks,
At the end of last year, we sent out a survey about the A-Infos Radio Project, our cooperative distribution system for program sharing via the Internet, which was in the construction and testing stages. Thanks to everyone's hardwork and support, we are on-line!
We already have a number of stations and producers participating by sending programs to the Project, and we have all been benefitting by access to each other's material. All that's missing is your program.
During the course of our discussions during the organization of the project, we realized that not all had access to the computer equipment and connectivity needed to move programs over the World Wide Web. As we do not wish this to be a project accessible only to the technologically well-endowed, we spoke of setting up a network of people who would be able to upload and download programs for those who do not have the equipment. Many who answered the survey expressed a willingness to help in this area.
Now is the time.
Many who answered the survey expressed a desire to participate, even though they didn't have the technological ability to upload audio files to the Internet.
If you are someone who needs such assistance, let us know and we will attempt to match you up with someone who can get your material up on the Net.
If you can offer to upload for others, or need help from someone, or wish to be involved in the ongoing organization of the A-Infos Radio Project, please write to our e-mail list at radio@tao.ca
We also need computer-literate people who can translate technical material from English to Spanish, French, German, Italian and Portuguese.
You can subscribe to our list, and see what we've been up to by visiting our websites.
This project was designed to be international and multilingual. At this time, only the English language version of our upload and download site has been developed so far. For a multilingual introduction to the radio project go to:

The Radio Project is open to all who wish to participate. All material is distributed free of charge. Our purpose is to provide an vehicle for democratic communications and grassroots radio broadcasting. We look forward to your participation.
In solidarity,
The A-Infos Radio Project Collective radio@tao.ca
