Sharepic for the event on September 27th at 3 p.m. The headline reads: Sex Work & Migration, below the date, time, and location: Black Pigeon Dortmund. In the lower half, there is a drawing of a demonstration of sex workers with umbrellas holding up various signs and banners, e.g., Sexwork is Work, The Nordic Model puts women in prison, Decriminalise sexwork ---- On Saturday, September 27th, 2025, at 3 p.m., we want to take a look at the topic of sex work together. The lecture is accessible and well-suited for an introduction to the topic. A special focus will be: Why do migrants work as sex workers in Germany? What are their living and working conditions like? The lecture will also cover the following: basics of the topic and definition of the term sex work, historical context, legal models, and an anarchist perspective on work. Afterwards, we want to engage in a discussion together. Any questions and comments are welcome. However, we reserve the right to exclude anyone who intends to provoke or attract attention with anti-sex worker statements.
Luna has been working with migrant sex workers for a decade and has also acquired theoretical knowledge on the topic. She has appeared as a freelance educational speaker on various panels and discussions.
