them, a justification for which could only be achieved after the war was 
won.
Here, however, we are faced with a daily extermination that is not only 
claimed but even credited with defending "Western civilization."
And the West, the West of "values," acquiesces. It stays silent and 
therefore agrees. The Palestinians are subhumans whose lives are not 
worth living. Intellectuals who were once militants of the so-called 
"left," some even sympathizing with the Red Brigades and now friends 
with the NAR, "far-left" professors-in short, a segment of yesterday's 
"radicals" now seem to be struck by lightning on the path to Israel, 
going so far as to defend any action it takes. Of course, it's either a 
nice about-face, or, we've always had the enemy at home. Jewish 
communities that no one knows what they are: Israeli embassies, Mossad 
headquarters? With very few exceptions, like Moni Ovadia, promptly 
accused of anti-Semitism, even though he's Jewish.
Yes, anti-Semitism. Never has there been a more disgusting use of a word 
that has a tragic history in the West (yes, in the West, not in Arab 
countries), and which is distorted to defend a genocidal state that has 
nothing to do with the Holocaust. But it's pointless to continue

acknowledge receipt by remembering that today the Jews are defended by

But what Western values are they blathering about these days? A West 
that sees tens of thousands of migrants drowning like dogs at sea, walls 
defending the enemy, electoral participation reduced to a mere 
simulacrum. How can we fail to see that a good portion of the world is 
tired of this West? And the West still believes it's playing the good 
colonialist. From this perspective, the Trump presidency is at least 
enlightening.
In recent weeks, however, things seem to be changing. The awareness of 
the extermination is making the hairs on the backs of the Western ruling 
class (the most inept ever seen) tremble. This is not out of any form of 
pity or awareness, but because history will condemn them as it condemned 
Quisling and Petain. And, perhaps, they might even be accused of 
complicity in the genocide.
But I have the vague impression that it's too late.
