July 19th represents the victory of a people against militarized
reaction and reminds us that the fight against fascism does not take
place in parliaments or at the ballot box, but in the streets, in the
workplaces, and in the neighborhoods, organizing alongside our class
brothers and sisters. It shows us that another world is possible, that
utopia can be put into practice, that the organized people are capable
of taking the resolution of all social issues into their own hands,
without professional politicians or savior messiahs, and building a
society without oppressed or oppressors.
Therefore, we invite you to participate in a talk-debate to remember the
historic struggle that anarchism waged against fascism within the
framework of the Spanish Revolution, and to collectively reflect on the
advance of fascist sectors today:
· How this is expressed in the current situation and the role that
social democracy plays as a facilitator.
What strategies do we need to build from below and with class
independence to confront this advance and open paths of organization and
transformative struggle?
