The Industrial Workers of the World (IWW) was founded in 1905
as a labor organization that believed in industrial unionism,
industrial organizing. direct action and universal working
class solidarity. The IWW sought to organize workers into a
One Big Union for the purpose of carrying on the day-to-day
labor struggles from the greatest possible strength that could
be organized and to build a new society within the shell of the
old where class conflict no longer exists. For 100 years IWW
members have carried on this purpose. Please join with us to
celebrate the IWWs Centennial Birthday and hear speakers talk
about the history, ideas, modern organizing and the greater
relevance of the IWW in today's world.
