people from accessing medicines for various diseases. But the working
class is also increasingly organized in anti-prohibitionist movements,
collectives, associations, and federations to fight for and impose its
interests on these issues!
There's a lot of money involved, whether illegally or legally, such as
in the cannabis market. With numerous industrial uses, large companies
become interested, leading to more exploitation of the working class's
labor. And here we have a new discussion: the rights of workers in the
legal cannabis market.
Come debate the subject and watch Smoke Screen (2010), a Brazilian
documentary by Rodrigo Mack Niven that discusses the failed "drug
control" policies and their political and social effects.
Afterwards, we will have a chat about labor rights in the cannabis
market, with doctoral candidate Rogério Zito, who is researching the
subject, and how to build popular power in this scenario.
