On July 19, 1936, the Spanish people rose up against General Franco's military coup. Behind the front lines, a self-governing revolution developed, one largely forgotten by history books. Ninety years later, we wish to draw inspiration from these historical experiments. ---- Meet-up on Sunday, July 19th at 4 PM in Lucmau (Landes, Gironde) ---- in the barn at 2905 Route des Doucs (between Lucmau and Cazalis) ---- Here is the program: ---- - Exhibition organized by the Anarchist Federation: "The Spanish Civil War as Seen Through Its Posters" ---- - Information table for union members from the CNT-AIT ---- - Theses and creations of Roma/Traveller art by Tania Magy ---- - Refreshments and snacks ---- - 4 PM - In homage to our libertarian brothers and sisters, Christian Leduc will perform his show:

"Barricades - Memories of Sharing"

This popular education show features songs, historical excerpts, anecdotes, and historical figures. This is a musical journey through the libertarian memory of social revolts between 1871 and the beginning of the 21st century, passing through Paris, Kanaky, Chicago, Ukraine, Barcelona (of course), and the Exarcheia district of Athens!

- 7:30 PM - Performance by

Buterflai

They come from the Spanish Basque Country for an educational, musical, and artistic concert in line with the anarchist folk movement. Their lyrics often address themes of resistance, freedom, and social critique, particularly the fight against repression and injustice. With 20 years of experience, their live performances are characterized by a narrative approach and the use of acoustic instruments, creating an atmosphere conducive to reflection on social issues. They will be accompanied by explanatory videos subtitled in French and English, allowing for a deeper understanding of the content and meaning of each song. They self-produced three albums: "Aprenderé," "Refranero Agricultura," and "Sen Esquencer," as well as unreleased tracks featured on benefit compilations.
