militarization of society with MILITARIZED SCHOOLS, MILITARIZED 
MUNICIPAL GUARDS, MILITARIZATION OF INDIGENOUS AND QUILOMBOLA 
TERRITORIES, INCREASED MILITARY SPENDING, INVESTMENT IN MILITARY ARMS 
INDUSTRIES, REDUCED INVESTMENT IN EDUCATION AND HEALTH. The union is a 
tool. It is our tool that has been stolen.

The UAF is a federalist anarchist association of collectives and 
individuals that works to build and establish in Brazil alternative ways 
of life, of just and egalitarian social and economic organization 
outside, parallel and beyond capitalism, understanding, living and 
practicing the unity of justice and freedom, the unity of person and 
nature for the good life. We offer our message to all workers this May 
1st, 2026, with the purpose of defending our rights together and 
building a better, more dignified, fairer life, with more freedom.
