Palestine and Yemen.
The Greek state, as a member of NATO, but also as an ally of Israel, is 
firmly tied to the adventurous plans of the Zionist lobby. This is seen 
through the defense cooperation agreements with the US, through the 
commitment to send troops to Gaza as part of the "peacekeeping" mission, 
through the strengthening of the role of the Greek state and its 
territory as a strategic depth for American and Israeli interests. So 
today, the Greek state has fully supported the US-Israeli imperialist 
intervention in Iran, especially with the operation of the American base 
in Souda, which plays a key role in the planning, support and supply of 
American raids in the Middle East. In the same context, private 
"innovation", in good cooperation with the academic sector and its 
research staff, conducts research on technological systems for the 
modernization of war. The result of this effort is the creation and 
adaptation of scientific research within universities, with the aim of 
acquiring new, more destructive weapons systems, for the alleged 
protection of the borders and the strengthening of the country's 
important military allies (USA, NATO, Israel). Consequently, 
universities are transformed into one of the most important parts of the 
war industry of the political and economic elites, which aim both to 
expand their sphere of influence and their territorial expanses, thus 
indirectly starring in countless murders and war crimes, through the 
conclusion of memorandums of cooperation for war research with states 
such as Israel. In other words, universities and students are used by 
the State as fuel for the war machine that commits genocides of peoples 
without any hindrance. Something that did not happen from one moment to 
the next, but is cultivated within our schools through individual 
development, careerism, and the intensification of study conditions.
A typical example of this relationship is the National Technical 
University of Athens, spearheaded by the Research University Institute 
for Communication and Computer Systems (EPISEY), the research arm of the 
School of Electronic and Information Systems. This institute has been 
involved in a series of research programs, with some of the most 
striking examples being the Andromeda program (with the involvement of 
the Greek Ministry of Shipping and the Israeli Ministry of Public 
Security) and the Ranger program, which falls under the broader Horizon 
2020 research program, which is funded, among others, by the weapons 
systems company Intracom Defense, a company that has been fully acquired 
by the state-owned Israeli Defense Industries (IAI). Both of these 
programs aim to design radars for surveillance of maritime borders, as 
well as to expand the communication network between European border 
guards. At the same time, Intracom Defense has been involved in a series 
of war programs in which various Greek universities participate, such as 
the University of Thessaloniki (HCUAV program), the Academy of Sciences 
and Engineering (SMOTANET program), the Aristotle University of 
Thessaloniki (LOTUS program) and the National University of Athens 
(OCEAN 2022 program). Finally, it should be mentioned that another 
branch of the subsidiary company of Intracom Defense, Intracom Telecom, 
has concluded a memorandum of research cooperation with the National 
Technical University of Athens.
So as long as states bleed the people with weapons designed by the most 
"brilliant" minds in Europe, silence becomes a regime. As imperialist 
wars are waged on more and more fronts and with greater intensity, 
societies will be impoverished and suppressed internally. The horror of 
war will continue to become our daily poison and our world an immense 
chaos. The only logical alternative to cynicism and death must be the 
formation and organization of resistance from below. The global 
solidarity movement in Palestine has achieved much and has truly 
frightened the authorities as an important and unyielding factor. In 
this context, the anarchist comrade and student of ASOEE Z.M. was 
targeted and persecuted by the State, even receiving the greatest 
possible sentence in the court of first instance. He was convicted 
precisely because our collective decided to make the cooperation of the 
institution with Intracom Defense visible and remains here to this day, 
saying that it is necessary in the here and now to directly obstruct 
these research programs in any way possible.
In the face of the rotten world of the State and Capitalism, we refuse 
to back down. We will continue our struggle against the militarization 
of our schools, the degradation of our daily lives, the suppression of 
our dreams. From Palestine to Lebanon and Iran, from Ukraine to Cuba, 
Sudan and Syria, we will always stand in solidarity with the people. 
Because the people have nothing to divide among themselves, they have no 
interest in becoming cannon fodder for the elites and dying in a war 
that is not theirs. Because the only war truly worth fighting is the 
class war, the war against oppression and impoverishment, against those 
who rule and will rule, against States and their war machines, the war 
that rages daily in our workplaces, schools, streets and neighborhoods, 
with a vision of social liberation and generalized self-management.
