ANTI-FASCIST ACTION ALERT #8
Don Black has his Stormfront supremacy page sitting as #1 on the hitbox "Organizations" register. More to the point, he is clearly coordinating an effort to get additional supremacy sites - the Klan et all, in various guises - on the list as well.
If that bothers you, there are several things you can do, the most important of which is simply convincing more Holocaust and anti-racist related sites to join the program and add themselves to the roster.
Having done that, you can spend more time checking the home pages of the anti-racist sites, in order to assist them with respect to improving their ratings. I don't believe for a moment that Stormfront's rating on hitbox is even remotely correct.... and you can ask your favourite Holocaust-education site to join the party... Cybrary, for instance, could remove Mr. Black from his #1 spot in a heartbeat. A million hits a month is hard to argue with.

COMBATTING HATE ON THE INTERNET
Several readers write asking for tips on dealing with cybernazi attacks like mailbombing.
The most important thing is not to rely on the advice of a single person. To help in this area, several of us have been fighting on <news.groups> to establish three anti-fascist Usenet news groups centered on the group <soc.politics.anti-fascism>. You can get the "Request For Discussion" (RFD) document that defines the proposed groups. Two of the groups will give anti-fascist/anti-hate activists the opportunity to discuss theoretical and practical matters of common concern. Another of the groups is for announcements of anti-fascist actions, conferences, seminars, demos, and the like. The next thing to do is to educate yourself about your "action options." A good place to start is the essay by Chris Lewis titled "Help! I've been Spammed! What do I do? FAQ." I have a very high regard for Lewis and other "net cops" who routinely cancel spam on the Usenet news groups. Tracking the source of mailbombs can be a bit of an esoteric art, particularly if the bomber disguises his address. The various anti-spam sites on the net have far better and more accurate advice than I can provide. Lewis has a good starting point for your search in his essay.
Mailbombing is also something I think you should complain about to the bomber's Internet Service Provider if you can find it. I think complaints to ISPs to "kick Nazis off the net" is a bad strategy; even if you get the cybernazi *groups* kicked off of one ISP they can easily move to another. But I have found that the people who mailbomb anti- fascists generally act as individual "warriors;" going after them via their ISPs is often successful. Try addressing your complaints to both "postmaster" and "abuse" at the ISP itself (e.g. address to "postmaster@aol.com" etc.)
Another way of handling hate-oriented net-action is to familiarize yourself with the tactics and strategies of the cybernazis. The are quieter about such things now than they once were. I also think that with cybernazis "The best defense is a good offensive." I mean this as more than a cliche. The fascists I've known have exhibited a severe case of what depth-psychologist Alfred Adler would call "overcompensation for feelings of inferiority." This is related to what the Freudians refer to as the "phallic narcissistic character." One-time psychoanalyst Wilhelm Reich summed up this technical term with the pithy phrase "a big prick," a term so on-topic that we all immediately know the type of personality to which it refers. While Reich, some years later, became "that nut," his term is still generally regarded as valid in today's analytic circles.
The people Adler and Reich refer to tend to attack when they detect weakness and retreat in the face of strength. (Of course my reference to psychology here should not be taken to mean that fascism develops exclusively from individual psychopathology; the Adler/Reich personality existed long before fascism. Only under specific historical, economic, and social conditions did the particular character take that form of action-in-the-world we refer to as fascism.)
Naturally, the action that one is able to take differs from individual to individual.
Some people, like Nizkor's Ken McVay, have the time and inclination to call for major campaigns against fascist action, as he did in the Action Alert above.
Others have far less time. But at a minimum I suggest you publicize mailbombs and other similar cybernazi activity. Certainly TINAF is available to help you here. Sunlight is an excellent disinfectant in the medical area; public exposure and education serve the same purpose in the social arena. Let us remember that fascist cowardice existed even after they took power in Germany. The Nazi policy was to make their opponents secretly disappear via "Nacht und Nebel" (Night and Fog).
Publicizing cybernazi attacks also has another advantage. Holocaust Revisionism is the dominant fascist ideology on the net. Current fascist strategic thinking leads them to minimize their past open illegal and aggressive activities behind attempts to rewrite their own history. Publicizing things like mailbombs or mass hate-oriented posts helps all anti-fascists and victims expose the myth of "fascism with a smiley face" as the lie that it is.
