The 1997 Anti-War Reunion Rally Commemorating and Continuing the Spirit of the 1967 March on the Pentagon - To be held at the Pentagon Complex October 25-26, 1997

The 1997 30-year anniversary Peace Rally Reunion will be held on October 25-26 at the Pentagon, Washington DC. The event is being organized by Mr. Mike Garrison, a "non-leader" of the historic 1967 march.
In addition to serving as a "reunion" of the 1967 participants, the event will also act as a forum for today's related causes: World Peace, Police Brutality, Hunger, The Death Penalty, Racism, Women's Rights, and Welfare Reform are among the many topics to be explored.
We are currently negotiating with several major performers, and actively seek the help of individuals, organizations, religious groups, corporations, and public figures. We are also seeking the participation of veterans and military/police personnel involved in the 1967 march.
We also need help in all areas associated with the production of an event this size. Volunteers are needed for the following: Local Housing, Legal Advice, Medical Services, Sanitation, Promotion, Entertainment, Security, Sound, Lighting, Media, Food Service and more.
