(en) Greece, APO, Land & freedom: Complaint of the PAPEI Libertarian Intervention (ca, de, it, pt, tr)[machine translation]

Complaint for the participation of members of the PAPEI board of
directors and the student association in a raiding party that carried
out murderous attacks during the Polytechnic University's three-day
break ---- Five members of the Contra Rossa group that intervenes in the
Student Association of our university, at least one of whom is a member
of the Board of Directors, as well as another person who has also served
as a member of the Board, were identified as participants in a
parastatal raiding party that, with clear murderous intent, launched a
pogrom against its political opponents, on the first day of this year's
Polytechnic University's three-day break. This particular assault
battalion, numbering around 200 people, was manned by members of a gang
operating under a left-wing political guise, called ARAS (the driving
force of the student faction of the EAAK, as well as the de facto party
youth of LAE-AA and MERA25) who gathered from all over Greece, moved
with a uniform appearance and the facial features of its members
covered, with a visible and vertical organization, under the guidance of
three men: a senior LAE executive, a political leader and finally a
trade unionist from the SEMFE student association. Thus, in the early
hours of Saturday 15/11, the assault battalion moved in an organized
manner, surrounded a group of 30 Anarchists who were unarmed, and
without even the slightest pretense of provocation attacked them with
murderous violence. The gang members, fully aware of their actions,
chased people into a building of the Polytechnic University and after
locking them in small rooms, beat them with equipment, repeatedly aiming
at the head and neck and beating unconscious people, undressed a girl,
attempted to throw people out of windows 7-8 meters high and engaged in
an attempt to humiliate the wounded. At the same time, those members of
the battalion who did not have a combat role videotaped the pogrom,
cursing and threatening the beaten. A female gang member with this role
has also been identified, as she was a member of the board of directors
of the Faculty of Physics of the National University of Athens and a
candidate for MP of MERA25 in Piraeus. It is noteworthy that these
murderers wore stickers and scarves that read "Student Associations", as
well as the refusal of all the dominant political forces of the student
movement to condemn such a clear exploitation of our structures.
The mentality of the authoritarian imposition of one's will on one's
political opponents is a structural part of a significant part of the
left, while such similar incidents have their political and ideological
roots in the Communist Party of Greece and its party youth, which acted
and continues to act in a similar way decades before and after the
change of government. Nevertheless, the magnitude of this specific
attack, the unprecedented sadistic violence, the abysmal audacity and
ultimately the equally abysmal cowardice of the common ARAS gang members
who not only did not dare to take responsibility for the attack, but
ultimately disappeared from the three-day event without even taking
their political material with them, and by not setting foot in their
schools to this day, managed to surpass even the dirty history of the
KKE and the KNE. The same people who we see within PAPEI throughout time
trying through their insults (often with sexist characteristics), their
voices, their threats, their ridiculous leftist slogans to tarnish and
sabotage every general assembly of the school, turning a direct
democratic grassroots process into a fiefdom and ultimately expelling
the students so that they can prevail themselves, promoting a rotten
bureaucratic process of a completely delegitimized and parasitic board
of directors, are the ones who, using themselves as protectors of the
"Student Associations", willingly took on the role of the gendarme and
the cop who decides which political force is entitled to intervene in a
place of asylum and with what characteristics. The same people who have
never confronted the repressive forces of the state or the fascists on
such terms when they were threshing, are the ones who unleashed all
their forces in the only political space that today keeps the project of
rebellion alive without having sold out and integrated into the corrupt
political regime of the post-coup.
For our part, we declare in all tones that the behaviors of common gang
members who, given the given condition of repression and attack that not
only the student movement but the social good of education itself is
receiving, do not function simply provocatively but in a seditious
manner, will be ostracized. The responsibility for these bastards
invading our spaces and political processes lies with every student
political and trade union organization, each and every one who calls
himself/herself part of the student movement. From our perspective as
libertarian students of PAPEI, we consider it self-evident not only the
displacement of the group that calls itself Contra Rossa from every
collective political process within the school, but also the permanent
and unconditional expulsion of its members from the PAPEI Student
Association "Platon", and we will move in this direction. The stance of
the remaining political forces of the school on the issue will also
highlight the political role they play.
