The first concrete act by civil society around the world to end the war
in Gaza, the famine, and the genocide of the Palestinian people,
represented by the Global Sumud Flotilla, came to an end last night.
Unprotected, with an Italian military vessel cowardly standing aside,
despite having already been threatened and bombed in international and
foreign waters, the activists of the Global Sumud Flotilla, committed to
opening a humanitarian corridor in the sea off Gaza (an international
sea appropriated by the Israeli government, with the consent of the
Italian government among others), were subjected to a criminal attack by
Israeli government special forces, who kidnapped them, thus putting an
end to their generous and nonviolent mission.
At this juncture, there was no shortage of preemptive agreement between
Zionist Prime Minister Netanyahu, a proven war criminal wanted by the
International Criminal Court, and Italian sovereignist Prime Minister
Giorgia Meloni, as is customary between sister states (Netanyahu
recently went to the UN to deliver a rambling speech, with the approval
of Italy, the only country in Europe, overflying Sicilian territory).
Our fight against the Israeli government must therefore extend to its
closest accomplices, the Italian government and its military,
commercial, and diplomatic agencies, which continue to do business and
cultivate friendly relations with the rogue state of Israel.
Let's not limit ourselves to boycotting goods, halting arms shipments to
Israel, or protesting in front of embassies, consulates, and industries
colluding with the Zionist state. Let's extend our protest to Italian
institutions, political parties, and newspapers in league with the
Meloni government, which spread hatred and export neo-fascist,
imperialist, and racist thinking around the world, which also informs
their Israeli counterparts. Let's continue the fight against the Israeli
government, both here and overseas, alongside the fight against the
Italian neo-fascism that supports it materially and ideologically.
LET'S MOBILIZE TO OVERTHROW THE MELONI GOVERNMENT!
