Under the slogan "Let's Block Everything," blockades and demonstrations 
took place in Paris and across the country on September 10th. The call 
was launched in the preceding weeks on social media and spread rapidly, 
giving voice to those opposed to Macron's authoritarianism, the attack 
on the exploited classes, and the rush to war. The state, facing the 
risk of a new grassroots movement bursting onto the scene, marginalizing 
the fascist far right and destabilizing the already deeply troubled 
power, decided to reshuffle the cards. Thus, on the eve of the great day 
of mobilization, Prime Minister Bayrou resigned. Nevertheless, between 
200,000 and 350,000 people took to the streets across France, both in 
radical blockades, building barricades at major logistics hubs, and in 
peaceful actions to slow traffic and set up protests at roundabouts in 
industrial zones. At the same time, a new government led by Lecornu, 
Bayrou's defense minister, took office in Paris. By the end of the day, 
thousands of blockades had been registered, 150 high schools occupied, 
and over 300 people arrested by the police. A new mobilization, 
including a one-day general strike, is planned for September 18th. 
Whether a movement will actually emerge from these demonstrations is 
difficult to say at this time. Meanwhile, the authorities are taking 
action, and even the downgrade of France's sovereign debt rating appears 
to be a purely political tool coming to the aid of France's ruling 
class, to force the exploited classes to swallow the attack on living 
and working conditions that would allow France to raise funds for the war.

To better understand what is happening and the movement's internal 
discussion plan, below are some texts (abridged in some parts) produced 
by groups of the Francophone Anarchist Federation who participated in 
the days of mobilization and, in some cases, even in their preparation. 
The first excerpt is an account of the day of struggle in Paris. The 
following texts, written in preparation for September 10th by groups 
from various regions, from the central Île-de-France region, where the 
capital is located, to Calvados and Vendée, offer interesting insights 
into issues related to the relationship with the movements. All texts 
were published in Le Monde Libertaire.

Some notes on September 10th in Paris

The experiences of this "Block Everything" day are undoubtedly as 
numerous as the places and actions attempted. Around the capital, in the 
early hours of the morning, there were attempts to block the ring road 
and its accesses, but the police are keeping watch over these vast 
spaces. Naturally, this also happened outside Paris, in all the 
departments of the greater and lesser belt, where the belt is tightening.

At the initiative of two comrades, Radio Libertaire opened its airwaves 
to live testimonies. We were thus able to get news from Rennes, Essonne, 
Boulogne... and receive messages of encouragement from those who 
couldn't attend but were happy to be informed. An experience worth 
repeating.

In Paris, planned or spontaneous rallies were held almost everywhere. 
Repression quickly organized itself to surround the gathering places. 
Without delay, spontaneous marches left the square for more welcoming 
locations.

The idea of blocking the economy through non-consumption seemed a rather 
distant one.

[...]We will be part of this movement, present wherever we can and 
vigilant for its independence. Furthermore, we urge those who will be 
there on Wednesday, September 10th, to express their revolt against 
injustice and exploitation... to be attentive... Because some are 
already listing their demands, refining their strategies...

But we are also seeing authentic practices being implemented, precisely 
those anarchists advocate![...]

So, let's say thank you and bravo to those angry people who, like us:

* Know that everyone is free to carry out the actions they want on 
September 10th! No one organizing has the legitimacy to prohibit the 
action you are planning.
* Are wary of decisions "made by the majority" and imposed on the 
minority (we know that stupid or manipulated decisions are easily 
possible in this system). Let's prioritize discussion, let's honestly 
seek the decision that can satisfy the greatest number of people, 
consensus. In short, let's run the risk of trusting each other! And 
finally, don't you agree with the decision made? Well, do what you 
planned to do, reunite with those who agreed with you!
* They are aware of the hierarchies that are already being established. 
Obviously, those who do more and speak better gradually monopolize 
decisions, and that's natural: help them get back on track and prevent 
them from getting too big for their boots! No one should be 
concentrating or giving themselves power.
* Try to preserve our right to think and decide: if AG representatives 
are appointed, they must be on projects, with precise, clear mandates. 
And those appointed must be immediately recallable if necessary.
* They are wary, like the plague, of these representatives "gathering" 
in "superior" assemblies that in turn make decisions. This is the 
beginning of the end... someone will soon make a decision alone... they 
will discuss it with a politician... (coordinate: yes, but without 
hierarchy!)
* And if, one day, a meeting is organized with a state representative... 
we want it to be open, controllable... No one should discuss with state 
representatives without being able to know what is being said.
* Some of the General Councilors emphasize the need for role rotation, 
for transparency in decisions... yes, it is essential!

In any case, we are delighted with this mobilization, we are 
participating in it, and we will do everything to ensure it is of a high 
standard and continues in the future!

Come on, we'll see!
Let's unite the struggles, in the streets, in businesses, in 
neighborhoods, and in municipalities.

And yes, Nicolas... the commune is not dead!

Calvados FA Connection

On this September 10, 2025, and for the times to come, the question is 
not whether or how the first disaster will occur. The political scene, a 
puppet theater of a caste of well-fed parliamentarians whose voice is 
systematically denied by an illegitimate executive worthy of the most 
shameless coups, is not the arena where everyone's future will be played 
out.

Under the pretext of financing a war announced and that no one wants, 
the capitalist offensive this time is of unprecedented violence for 
workers, the unemployed, pensioners... in all public and private sectors 
of society.
Judge for yourselves: the elimination of two days of rest, the pension 
freeze, the increase in the army budget and the reduction of those for 
healthcare and education, the insane and ecocidal Duplomb law, the rapid 
implementation of the Kasbarian law favoring the eviction of squats, the 
repression of demonstrations against war and genocide, the protection of 
neo-Nazi demonstrations... the list could be endless, crowned by an 
extraordinary financial effort on the war instruments of police control 
and repression.

The tone is set. The list of liberticidal and antisocial measures 
inflicted on us by the authoritarian and racist coalition in parliament 
since the coronation of King Macron I is long. The fairy tale of debt 
(created by them, not the people) and the war effort they are trying to 
impose on us no longer holds water.

The popular movement taking shape today on social, egalitarian, and 
pacifist foundations is approaching the only terrain the system fears: 
that of blocking the capitalist economy and the streets. It is 
approaching this terrain because all those who participate have 
understood that asking politely, trusting national representation, is 
not only doomed to failure, but also heralds an even less promising future.

Anarchists, committed to equality for all, freedom, peace, 
anti-patriarchy, widespread self-management, and ecology, and aware of 
the paradigms posited in the struggle waged in these new times, have an 
internationalist vision of the struggle to be waged where the global 
system tends to push us into a global chaos against which all forces of 
progress must engage without regard.

We support this movement wholeheartedly, we participate in it, but we 
have no lessons to impart, other than to ensure that the initiative is 
left to the grassroots and not to allow ourselves to be dragged into 
political hijacking or the procrastination of the union apparatus.

Justice is our only driving force. It's a utopia in capitalism, and 
power is truly cursed!

Enough is enough.

Enough of the false words, the outright lies.
Enough of the coups de force, the public force.
Enough of the dishonest politicians, the media plague.
Enough of the social arrogance, the clannish presumption.

The September 10th uprising was quickly embraced by the working classes, 
who can no longer tolerate their territory becoming a playground for 
millionaires, but also by long-time social and environmental activists. 
Learning from the lessons of the Yellow Vest movement, some have put 
aside their distrust of unions and struggle collectives, while the 
latter are refusing to repeat the mistake of class contempt. Solidaires, 
FO, the CGT, and the FSU of the 85th district are calling for people to 
join the September 10th movement (we can infer what we want from other 
union organizations). Social, ecological, feminist, and LGBT+ struggle 
collectives are also joining the uprising. This joyful convergence 
reflects the scale of popular anger.

So, on the 10th, we are putting all our energy into shutting down the 
country[...]But... let's be clear: September 10, 2025, will not be the 
big night. Nor the eve of the big night. The conquest of new rights has 
never been achieved in a day. This statement is not to discredit a 
legitimate popular movement, but to avoid deluding ourselves. Building a 
new world will take time. And we must collectively seize these important 
steps to forge connections and build the democracy we aspire to. A 
direct and self-managed democracy, made up of mandatory rotating 
mandates, revocable at any time.
A democracy without leaders or borders. Without masters or priests. 
Without police and without an army. A democracy without gods or masters! 
Because the far right and its ideas are the enemies of workers, we do 
not allow fascism, racism, sexism, LGBT+ phobia, or confusing discourses 
that divide people in our marches.

WE ARE BLOCKING EVERYTHING!
WE ARE NOT GIVING UP ANYTHING!

We expect nothing from elections or political parties. The fall of a 
Bayrou or a Macron will only be a step. There is no point in trying to 
replace them. Let's take care of our present and our future, and leave 
this system that so perfectly combines capitalism and fascism in the past.
Down with the state and long live anarchy!
