Sharepic for the discussion on August 7, 2025, at 6 p.m. at the Black
Pigeon in Dortmund. In the background, there is a pointed green arrow
pointing downwards against a grainy background with a green gradient.
Everything appears desaturated. ---- The effects of climate collapse are
becoming more visible year after year. After the broad movement of
2018-2021, issues surrounding the current ecocide and the systematic
destruction of our livelihood seem to have been forgotten again. Yet
these topics are clearly becoming increasingly pressing. We want to
create a shared space for small groups to discuss the following
questions: What can we do now to adapt to climate change? How can the
climate struggle be linked to other political movements? (How) can we
maintain a positive attitude towards life in the face of destruction?
We look forward to the discussion on August 7, 2025, at 6 p.m. at the
Black Pigeon Dortmund.
The room will be open from 6 p.m., and the event will begin at 6:15 p.m.
and last approximately two hours. The event is free of charge; there
will be no food provided, but hot and cold drinks will be available for
purchase on site. Guests are also welcome to bring their own food and
drinks. The Black Pigeon (Scharnhorststraße 50, 44147 Dortmund) is
wheelchair accessible. The presentation/workshop will be held in spoken
German; whispered interpretation into English is available upon request;
please notify us in advance by email to agdo@riseup.net. The venue can
be reached from the main train station by subway (Hafen, U47
Westerfilde, or U49 Hafen).
