(en) France, UCL AL #362 - Anti-fascism - Support Campaign: Family Planning's Alarm Call (ca, de, fr, it, pt, tr)[machine translation]

The fight for gender equality was supposed to be the "great cause of
Macron's five-year term." It will be the biggest victim. For several
weeks, Family Planning has been warning about the cuts to its funding.
With 2,000 employees and volunteers, the 82 departmental associations
nevertheless help more than 500,000 people each year. They are on the
front lines for access to contraception, abortion, and sexual and
emotional education. In Loiret, for example, a EUR47,000 cut in funding
will lead to the loss of two salaried positions.
Political decisions that undermine these rights echo attacks on the
rights of women and gender minorities around the world. To combat this
reactionary offensive and the unprecedented financial hardship it is
causing, the Family Planning Association (Planning Familial) is
launching a donation campaign to enable it to continue its work. We urge
you to support this initiative!
