(en) Greece, Protaanka: Support gathering in Peristeri (ca, de, it, pt, tr)[machine translation]
Date

We support tonight's rally in Peristeri (town hall square) calling for a
"residents' initiative" following a homophobic attack that occurred in
the area in recent days. The homophobic or transphobic venom that all
kinds of obscurantists are spewing, even going so far as to engage in
open attacks, is not tolerated and has no place in the working-class
neighborhoods of the western suburbs.
Workers, the poor, the class-defined youth, all those who are in a
position of exploitation and oppression, have nothing to divide on the
basis of gender or sexual preferences. Those who try to divide, to
spread hatred and artificial divisions within our class - our
overwhelmingly majority social class - are in essence playing a dirty
role of disorientation as systemic slaves, with the only winners being
the state and capital.
