the fight with artists, journalists, own and other politicians, 
international figures, public institutions, sectors such as the 
picketers, state and teachers, to the Zionist circus and the purchase of 
Yankee planes, new news appears every day that run the axis of the real 
and palpable concrete situation that is being experienced. Social 
networks are presented as a privileged place of action for national 
politics, skillfully taking advantage of the context of individualism 
and fragmentation that prevails today.
But what is the background of these battle bulwarks: the blender 
represents the catastrophic loss of purchasing power for all of us who 
live from our work. Not to mention the most neglected sectors such as 
retirees and those who receive targeted policies (plans) from the State. 
With no prospect of recovery, something that seemed very difficult was 
done at the end of last year: we are all much poorer than we had been...
The chainsaw is the symbol of the "outside" that so emboldened Milei's 
candidacy in 2023. However, far from focusing on the "caste" - which has 
just increased its salary again with an express vote in the senate -, 
the cuts They focus on the budget reduction of the public sector, not 
only leaving thousands of people without work throughout the country but 
also leaving millions of inhabitants helpless in accessing services and 
meager benefits that were guaranteed from there. Historical popular 
achievements such as access to public health, free education or 
disability pensions are seriously at risk. Not to mention the indirect 
consequence of these measures, which leads to the paralysis of the 
economy, with a direct impact on consumption and even the tax collection 
itself to guarantee the public.
It is more than clear that officials, legislators, judges have been 
faithful to their corporate class interests instead of solving people's 
problems. It is already a fact that the political class failed in the 
administration of social life. However, this Government, with the old 
neoliberal refrain of going for the reduction of the State (in terms of 
less provision of social services and deepening its administrative role 
of exclusion), is providing all possible legal tools to the concentrated 
business sectors. , financial powers and extractivist transnationals, so 
that deep looting takes place in the shortest time possible. The 
adjustment variable is rights, conquests, demands and the very survival 
of the people as a whole.
Here the private employers also play their cards, aiming to make labor 
relations as flexible as possible and always adjust with the workers. 
Nobody dared to do so much since the time of the last dictatorship.
The sticks are the necessary counterpart of these measures, also with 
force from the campaign, the repression allows the economic and social 
measures to advance and deepen. Increasingly brutal, the repressive 
forces are emboldened. Proof of this are also the threats and attacks on 
militants of human rights organizations, which shows that, although 
silenced, the state apparatus always remained alert to go out again to 
persecute, torture, disappear...
Finally, war planes. A measure that gathers little support and appears 
alongside a context of increased salaries for politicians, the promotion 
of relevant figures in the cabinet such as Adorni and Karina Milei among 
others, and the decision for the president to stop flying on common 
planes. For four months they endured the "anti-caste" gestures of the 
"cultural battle." More of the same, but with more smoke and 
ultra-liberal decorations... Argentina being the country that has the 
most debt with the IMF, the purchase of airplanes is nothing other than 
total submission to the organization's policies. The purchase vouchers 
that the employers gave to their forestry workers and they could only 
use them in their warehouses. Along with the handing over of the keys in 
Patagonia to the southern command, leaving the US with an interference 
only comparable to the last military dictatorship.

Just days before the commemoration of a new May 1, it is time to 
recognize that we are waging our own "cultural battle" and that we must 
reinforce that strategy. If in the 70's not to commit, not to fight to 
change the unjust society, was unthinkable for those who risked their 
lives. Today doing so seems to be something old, commitment, 
responsibility and dedication are far from the values that neoliberalism 
promotes with its individualism and apathy.
However, there are expressions of another way of doing things. Another 
way to face this context. Class solidarity, which goes from within the 
labor sector when a friend has a bad time or is fired, to between 
different sectors in the forge of unitary measures, is still in force. 
Direct action as a way of facing and demanding what is needed. Values 
that are deeply rooted in the history of our class are still valid, 
latent and appear in this tremendous context. Therefore, in the face of 
resignation, indifference and the idea that nothing can be changed, 
which runs deep in many colleagues and which appears in the daily life 
of work, the neighborhood, and places of study, let us collectively 
propose , build spaces for participation, decision and action that allow 
us to defend our conquests and put a stop to the advance of those above. 
There is no place to "feign insanity" in the face of a context that 
crushes and oppresses us every day, it is necessary to get involved, 
commit, get involved, and as history shows, when we do it we can change 
everything from the roots.
Let's get to this May 1st with the history of our present class. History 
of fierce combats, of tremendous injustice, but also of commitment, 
solidarity, dreams and shared desires to build a more just society, 
without oppressed or oppressors. Let's spread solidarity and build a new 
world!!
