immediate post-war period to today, sometimes as simple support for the 
political and economic right, sometimes as a leading element of the 
offensive reactionary and conservative: this is demonstrated by the long 
trail of blood and violence that has crossed this country (how can we 
forget the massacres in Piazza Fontana, in Brescia, on the trains, at 
the Bologna station...).
Today, thanks to the spread of a general climate of intolerance, racism 
and sexism - which has modified social relationships, collective 
behaviors and individual dimensions, based as it is on contempt and 
hatred for alleged 'diversity' - we proposes it as a 'natural' outlet 
for an authoritarian mentality and a hierarchical structuring of social 
life. The suicidal policies of the left did the rest with the 
precarization of work, the adherence to neo-liberalism, the attack on 
the social conquests of the previous cycle of struggle, the obsession 
with legality, forgetting that the law is always the fruit of relations 
of social strength. We see the result with Meloni and his clique in 
power. What is of concern today is the strengthening of a vast network 
of de facto alliances, which ranges from the institutional right to 
organized crime and large sectors of the state apparatus, up to the 
small groups of the most vulgar extremism. In fact, beyond the 
languages, their objectives are identical (migrants, anarchist and 
communist realities, social centers, grassroots unions, youth behavior, 
etc.) and also made their own by those self-styled 'moderates' who would 
like more police and more repression, strengthening that state apparatus 
which, through the judiciary and police, arrests, reports and criminally 
prosecutes anti-fascist activism, criminalizing street demonstrations 
with the principle of collective responsibility and expanding the 
application of the articles on subversive association. That same 
apparatus which, among the ranks of the forces of internal and external 
repression of the army, recruits and keeps openly fascist individuals in 
service.

We live in an international climate dominated by the great maneuvers of 
imperialism, which to redesign the various zones of influence and 
domination have unleashed atrocious wars, giving new life to ethnic and 
religious totalitarianism, with the massacre and genocide of defenseless 
populations.

We live in a pseudo-democracy that makes us believe we are free 
individuals only because it periodically calls us to the polls, denying 
us, the following day, the right to participate and make decisions that 
concern our individual and collective lives.

We live in cities that let neo-fascists parade with impunity complete 
with a Roman salute and Nazi banners and incarcerate those who oppose them.

We live under the continuous political-clerical attack on school 
autonomy, on individual and collective freedoms, on self-determination 
and the right to choose for women, on free sexuality, to guarantee 
patriarchal privilege and the imposition of a single model of 
relationships interpersonal to the point of oppression and violence.

We live under the blackmail of the passive acceptance of poorly paid, 
increasingly precarious paid work, at risk of accidents and death, 
subjected to the anti-human speculations of the search for profit at any 
cost.

We live in increasingly polluted territories, dominated by speculation - 
which denies us the right to housing - and by environmental devastation 
(Major Works, TAV, Strait Bridge, etc.).

We live in increasingly less socializing, militarized and more "fearful" 
cities, conditioned by the media offensive of mass disinformation.

It's time to reverse the trend!

Now more than ever there is a need to affirm our firmest opposition to 
this system of oppression and exploitation, to the attempts to increase 
our involvement in war, to the new and increasingly authoritarian 
attempts that are emerging on the horizon with the 'reforms' 
institutions of the prime minister alone in command.

Let us abandon every parliamentary illusion and give life to grassroots 
organizations without hierarchies, without party and apparatus 
officials, for the relaunch of collective direct action, the 
first-person management of the struggle, the refusal of delegation as 
guarantees of a self-management path that is not limited to 
"adjustments", to "compatibilities" within the capitalist organization 
of work and society, but places the radical transformation of social 
relations on the agenda, for a world of free and equal people.

We must support the effort of those in the world, from Rojava, to 
Chiapas, to Palestine, fighting to gain freedom and their own social 
organization.

To respect historical memory, to remember that the anti-fascist struggle 
was born in 1919 and did not end on April 25th seventy-nine years ago, 
to honor fallen comrades, anti-fascism must return to intertwining with 
the radical criticism of the existing and to the revolutionary 
perspective of a society without hierarchies or exploiters, defeating on 
the terrain of social practice - self-management, solidarity, 
anti-capitalist, anti-racist, anti-sexist - any attempt to criminalize 
our lives and attack on individual and collective freedoms.
