natural reciprocity of man and woman», «it envisages a society without 
sex differences», «it empties the anthropological basis of family", 
"induces educational projects and legislative orientations that promote 
a personal identity and emotional intimacy radically detached from the 
biological diversity between male and female".

The papal fury is making lies not only for all free and rational people, 
but also for some sectors of the church itself, as happened at the last 
federal assembly, of the Federation of Catholic Universities (Fuci), 
which approved a motion of direction in which we hope for «a Church that 
rediscovers itself as truly Christian and abandons all the cultural 
overlay that led it, as an institution, to oppress subjectivities and 
communities, that refuses to be used to justify discrimination and even 
active violence against human beings because of their identity." Even 
the diocese of Padua had contradicted the pope some time by speaking of 
"instances that deserve to be considered".

On another ethical issue, such as that of the end of life, a new attack 
by the CEI, this time on the Emilia Romagna region, guilty of applying, 
through a resolution, the ruling of the Constitutional Court 242/2019 
which, as is known, covered a void legislative guilt never filled, on 
such a delicate topic. The Episcopal Conference says it is alarmed by 
this desire "to legitimize medically assisted suicide with an 
administrative decree, with a precise timetable for its implementation -

beautiful words (but without concrete outlets) against the war.

And then there is the other aspect of the Catholic Church that Bergoglio 
has only scratched with bombastic and ambiguous declarations, that of 
the pedophilia of priests and other Church employees. The sentence of 4 
years and 6 months for the priest Giuseppe Rugolo, accused of sexual 
violence against a young man, who reported him, is fresh from early 
March. The sentence was issued by the Enna court after eight hours of 
deliberation. The prosecutor had asked for a heavier sentence, 10 years. 
The judges also decided to permanently ban Rugolo from teaching in 
school and from holding public offices for five years. The sentence also 
declares the Curia of Piazza Armerina to be civilly liable, with 
"damages to be quantified and settled separately".
