SOLIDARITY IN THE OCCUPIED ROSA NERA & RECTORATE ---- On the morning of

evacuated the Rosa Nera occupations, once again, and Prytaneia. Another

oldest occupations in the country. Immediately after the evacuation, 
dozens of supporters gathered at the scene, while they carried out a 
symbolic occupation initially at the Chania town hall and then marched 
outside the local Police Station.

This particular attack is the second that the Rosa Nera occupation 
receives as on 15/9/20 an evacuation operation was carried out with 16 
arrests. The answer to this was 9 months later for the comrades to

prioritized the repression of squatters high on their political agenda. 
This also happens on Kasteli Hill. The vacated premises are the property 
of the Technical University of Crete, whose Real Estate Company has 
granted them to a private investor (Belvedere company) for the 
construction of a hotel. Exploitation and commercialization of a public 
open space by capital to benefit and serve the interests of domestic and 
multinational political and economic elites.

At a time when conditions for the entire social base, workers, students, 
refugees and immigrant women, prisoners are getting worse day by day, 
the state is hitting the centers of social resistance and the people who 
are struggling. The squats are part of the struggle, spaces for the 
creation of a free culture of resistance to capitalism and solidarity 
among the oppressed. They are a foreshadowing of another society, a 
society of equality, freedom and solidarity that the state is fighting 
and trying to destroy.

We, for our part, continue the just struggle of reconstruction in 
Libertatia, which has been occupied for 16 years, and we stand in 
solidarity with the squatters of Rosa Nera and the Rectory and anyone 
who fights for a society of solidarity and freedom. All together we put 
up dikes in the plans of the state. We stand in solidarity with every 
movement structure that is targeted. We stand in solidarity with every 
occupation that is struck, telling the authorities that we are here and 
we will fearlessly continue to fight for the building of a better world. 
We will continue to fight with our heads held high until anarchy and 
libertarian communism.
