it easy because "Prague is and will be feminist". Download, print and

so-called March for Life should pass through Prague on April 6. However, 
the only thing this business has in common with life is that it wants to 
make it worse and more uncomfortable, especially for women and queer 
people. The march is organized by the Movement for Life, whose name 
tries to give the impression of some kind of organic people's movement 
at first glance. However, this is only a very poor cover for what this 
organization really is: a very well-funded and networked lobbying group 
that has quietly crept into every corner of the government over the past 
years. Even in the parliament, the roast is cooked, and with the support 
of its friends from ANO to People's Party to ODS, it whispers sweet 
words into honored ears. In his agenda, he particularly pushes for the 
restriction of reproductive rights with the ultimate goal of a complete 
ban on abortion. In addition, they fight against sex education, the 
existence of queer people, conventions to suppress violence against 
women and try to protect us from the fabled "gender ideology".

Of course, the regressive March for Life enjoys a lot of support from 
many conservative politicians and leaders of the Catholic Church, who 
seem to remember the (literally) golden era when the church controlled 
everything from family life to education to politics. The chairman of 
the Movement for Life, Radim Uchác, said that "banning abortion is only 
ten percent" of what they want. It is up to everyone's imagination where 
it would have gone if we had not first actively resisted the stealthy 
and increasingly bold demands of the klerofascists. So far, they are 
manifesting themselves in verbal attacks on everyone who does not fit 
into their depraved idea of the ideal person - a God-fearing and 
command-obeying mental cripple in everything. What would happen if they 
felt no resistance?

Their agile struggle, or rather holy war, against the rights and 
freedoms of queer people is manifested in perversions, such as the 
spread of books on the so-called conversion therapy of homosexuals. They 
do not consider the various kinds of diversity to be "God's purpose" 
because in their fanatical drive they are more divine than their 
imaginary god. It is they, the oppressors of all possible oppressive 
religions, not only the Christian ones, who divinely interpret what is 
and what is not "God's intention". An example from the first months of 
the Russian (murderous, but consecrated by the Orthodox Patriarch 
Kirill) invasion of Ukraine points to their insensitivity - perhaps 
ridiculous for now. That's when the Movement for Life decided to oppose 
a public fundraiser for abortion pills for raped women, recommending 
that they buy horns instead. As if she could stop the armed and 
rampaging occupiers with impunity. Needless to say, if a woman were to 
become pregnant due to rape, abortion should be prohibited according to 
pseudo-thinkers from the Movement for Life. And it is hard to believe 
the pleasant advertising campaign that the March for Life is mainly 
about protecting the family and children, when in the past Jan Graubner 
- the archbishop who covered a pedophile priest who raped ministers 
entrusted to him - was so fond of speaking at marches. Similarly, we 
could continue for a long time. But we can clearly see from this that 
the Movement for Life is not about children at all, but above all about 
control and suppression of human freedom and autonomy. It is an 
anti-women initiative. Although she defended herself against this 
designation in court when she sued the weblog A2larm, the court had to 
give the defendant the truth.

The March for Life is clearly an annual demonstration of regressiveness 
and obscurantism, a call for a kind of return to the age of the 
all-embracing power of religious dogma, an effort to legitimize 
xenophobia, discrimination and hostility towards otherness.

We, the anarchists, already in the 19th century carried the torch that 
shed light on the dark picture of a society bound by religious 
prejudices and controlled by kings, capitalists and priests in such a 
way as to keep the broad underprivileged classes in a subordinate 
position. Our torch of enlightenment, rebellion, hope and freedom shed 
light on their instruments of subjugation - ignorance, poverty, 
superstition, nationalism and the police baton.

We feel that the forces are coming to speak, bringing with them the 
darkness that we hoped was banished once and for all. The torch needs to 
be raised again and the obscurantism now represented by the Pro-Life 
Movement must be confronted. And so we will certainly not be absent from 
the blockade of their march on April 6. If you want to join, we will

The A3 wall newspaper is published by the Anarchist Federation every

the streets or posting in workplaces and schools.
