environmentalist elected official during a demonstration, which Mister 
W. and "his" complacent gendarmes wanted to pass off as an eco-terrorist..)
Recently a very legalistic but determined field action made it possible 
to block the work in progress until spring 2024. Since the end of 
September, activists have taken turns daily at Rouchas, the location 
where a strategic bridge for the project is to be built.
Equipped with good shoes and the prefectural decree concerning the work, 
they demanded strict application of it: ban on the passage of machines 
on private property or in priority natural areas, reminder that an 
appeal on the Declaration of Public Utility is still awaiting judgment...
For the work to really begin, it was obligatory that the archaeologists 
responsible for the preventive excavations intervene on the site. On 
November 14, the chtars of the PSIG (Gendarmerie surveillance and 
intervention platoon, responsible for interventions in sensitive 
environments and intelligence missions) therefore intervened to leave 
the way clear for the archaeologists' excavator engaged without 
authorization on a private land. Results: gassing of around thirty 
demonstrators and 7 arrests.
The next day, remobilization of the opponents and faced with tensions on 
the ground, the archaeologists decided to suspend their excavations. 
From there, everything comes to a halt because they have to leave the 
area to carry out other searches elsewhere.
In short, no work will be possible before spring 2024 and that is still 
a win.
Argh, all these regulations and administrative agencies that hinder the 
smooth running of profit. Fortunately Larcher and Macron, who met in 
February, are on the same line: a common hatred of independent 
administrative authorities. The liquidation of IRSN (nuclear) is already 
well underway and the rest should follow...

The art of lathering up without risk
For compliance with the rest of the environmental laws we can trust 
Wauquiez who decided alone to refuse to apply the Zero Net 
Artificialization (ZAN) process included in the "Climate and Resilience" 
law of 2021.

The State's "green budget" dedicated to the ecological transition is a 
good example. First of all, it is very small: a maximum of 40 billion, 
or barely 7% of the 570 billion of the 2023 budget.
Another 18 "brown" billion are considered "unfavorable for the 
environment". The rest, 518 billion, is "gray" because "neutral on the 
environment".(2)
How was this calculated? By an internal administration working group 
made up of current civil servants. A guarantee of impartiality (!) and 
above all a vast catch-all of anything and any way.
An example: is the financing of wind turbines "green" because they 
produce carbon-free energy or "brown" because they use concrete, steel 
and plastics to manufacture them? Unfathomable mystery and no answer.
"Personnel expenditures of ministries linked to the 
environment[are]green...those of other ministries are gray". For what? 
No answer.
The "green revenues" planned in the 2024 budget have melted like snow in 
the sun: no more tax on plane tickets (several hundred million EUR), 
Maintained the subsidy for non-road diesel (farmers). Liquidated the 
highway tax (600 million)...
With all these lobbies at work and with state cynicism, Lolo Wauquiez 
and his naughty friends do not have too much to worry about their Amazon 
warehouse, their luxury housing estate in the mountains , their

Pandora and Nimrod still fly to the aid of the countryside

wonders the industrial lobby, "France agrivoltaïsme" has succeeded in 
"excluding solar panels from the law against the artificialization of land.»
It's an explosion: 200 projects are counted. And go ahead, I plan to cut 
out islands of green energy production in the forests around Loulle in 
the Jura (75 ha), to destroy a renatured area with its protected species 
(project of the Compagnie Nationale du Rhône near from Lyon). Already 
more than thirty hectares of the Daigny forest (Ardennes) have been 
ravaged by greedy green energy industrialists, sometimes helped by 
certain nature protection associations, in the name of energy transition 
and the lesser evil.
All these projects are now being carried out with the support of the 
FNSEA, which has become vice-president of the lobby already mentioned. 
Why have the environmental mafiosi converted to photovoltaics?
It's simple enough to cry: it brings in wheat, green energy. This is 
already the case in the great cereal plains where wind turbines planted 
in the fields provide comfortable "additional income" to large cereal 
growers.
And the planting of solar panels in Tarn-et-Garonne, for example, brings 
in EUR2,500 to EUR5,000 per year per hectare instead of EUR1,400 for wheat.
Only problem: there will be no more cereal production... Because despite 
the false speeches, how can we cultivate under solar panels (absence of 
light and water)? How to plow with the vast network of buried cables and 
sensors? Agricultural land becomes industrial.
This scam was sold by Macron saying he wanted to "work with farmers to 
enable them to have, through ecology, a response to falling yields: 
through agrivoltaism, biomass, sustainable fuels.» In short, everything 
we hate and fight.
This is done in the name of progress that cannot be refused (because 
progress progresses, everyone knows it), of choices imposed slyly by the 
State, the digital industrialists (including Xavier Niel) (6), the 
bandits of the agro-industrial sector, the land grabbers (land grabbers 
and speculators) and the FNSEA.
The Confédération Paysanne clearly denounced this project "which is 
marketing and aims to legitimize land and financial opportunism in a 
difficult context for the peasant world.»(7)
It "takes away from autonomy... Its perverse effects are multiple: 
attack on the nurturing vocation of the land due to artificialization... 
reduced availability of land, precariousness of peasants, financial 
windfall generating conflicts of interest, loss of quality of life at 
work, degradation of landscapes, damage to biodiversity...»
At the end of the year, the decree governing agrivoltaism has still not 
been published. On the other hand, the "Ministry of Ecological 
Transition is submitting another regulatory text for public consultation 
until November 24: one that will facilitate the destruction of species 
protected by renewable energy promoters.» With this "all projects 
exceeding a certain size will automatically be considered as responding 
to "compelling reasons of major public interest", as long as the 
objectives of the multi-annual energy programming have not yet been 
achieved.» (8)
And, the inevitable counterpart of agrivoltaism is the robotization and 
digitalization of agriculture, controlled remotely by AIs that consume 
ever more "green" and carbon-free energy.
Cultivate the land or cultivate kilowatts, feed the populations or feed 
the bandits of industry, the choice should be clear.
But the crime syndicate that is the FNSEA still runs the shop with its 
lobbies, its chambers of agriculture, its pesticides, its social 
security, its bank, its water thefts, its multinational seed 
cooperatives (Limagrain) and of bio-diesel (Avril group), its political 
and state relays, its public violence covered up by the public 
authorities... while it knowingly co-manages with the State the slow 
death of the peasant or even agricultural world.
An anecdote. A few years ago the FNSEA, led at the time by 
agro-businessman Xavier Beulin (Sofiproteol, CETIOM, Crédit Agricole, 
etc.) organized a series of demonstrations as grandiose as they were 
violent against imports of low-cost meat. Issue. At the same time, a 
subsidiary of Sofiproteol (Farmor) organized the importation of chickens 
at low prices.(9)
This became known but neither led to the resignation of Beulin, nor 
curbed the destructive and autophagic ardor of the union members. of the 
FNSEA.
Suffice to say that to have bread (edible) and roses (scented) as the 
American socialists demanded at the beginning of the 20th century, you 
will have to wet your shirt and everything else!
