Trial of anarchist total/conscientious objector Mehmet
Tarhan is held early in the morning today in Sivas
Military Court. It has been postponed to 9th of June
and his lawyer's request of acquit was rejected
although the army prosecutor has agreed. This means
Mehmet Tarhan will at least spend another two
weeks in prison. Mehmet seemed quite bad physically,
with bruises on his body and could not walk well
because of ongoing torture on him!
Following the court, 3 total/conscientious objectors
(Ersan Ugur Gor, Erdem Yalcinkaya, Mustafa Seyhoglu)
also got arrested. People resisted and did not
let them to take their friends but cops violently
attacked injuring many people including women. Now 3
objectors are in police station and soon they'll
probably be sent to military office.
LAST MINUTE UPDATE : About 10 people are also forced
to wait in the police station in which they went to
defend 3 objectors. Now cops are trying to take their
evidence.
