1. NEXT SUPPORTERS' PICKET OF THE METROPOLITAN HOTEL
The Next picket of the Metropolitan Hotel by their Workers Committee
and its supporters will be this SUNDAY, MAY 15, AT 4.00 PM
108 CHESTNUT (WEST OF BAY AND SOUTH OFF OF DUNDAS)

The struggle for justice for hotel workers at the Metropolitan
continues.
Victimized workers must be brought back to work, dangerous working
conditions and employer harassment must be addressed and the rights of
injured workers respected.

Meanwhile, the Hotel continues to experience a crisis at the top.
Security
boss, John Bond has found other employment and (very unexpectedly)
General
Manager, Jeremy Roncoroni, is being transferred to the other
Metropolitan
in Vancouver.

Management shuffles won't stop the struggle against employer abuse and
terrible working conditions at the Metropolitan. Only justice for the
workers will resolve things.

Please come out on the 15th and show your support. Food for the
picketers
will be provided.

2.VIGIL AT DAVID SANDERS' REFUGEE HEARING

Immigration & Refugee Board Office
74 Victoria (1 block east of Yonge, between Richmond and Adelaide)

David Sanders is the second U.S. war resister to have his refugee case
heard before the IRB. Please come out to a vigil at the Board to support
the right of David and all U.S. soldiers who refuse to fight in the
illegal war in Iraq to have safe haven in Canada.

3. Montreal Anarchist Bookfair.

We'll be having a table at the bookfair, with a selection of classic
anarchist and left-communist books (even some fiction!) from Martin
Glabberman's "Punching Out",  books by Kropotkin and Berkman, to the
revolutionary adventures of Tin-Tin in "Breaking Free" as well as the
NEFAC publications. Also we're looking to co-ordinate some
transportation
to the bookfair so if you have space in a vehicle, or could rent and/or
drive one, please contact  punchingout@nefac.net

The Rummage Sale will offer lots of bargains and all proceeds will go to
OCAP and its fight against poverty and those who inflict it on us.
