There will be a series of public meetings on the shrinking economy
organized by Alternative Libertaire, Casbah, the Confédération Nationale
du Travail (CNT), the Fédération Anarchiste (FA), Marée Noire and No
Pasaran, to be held at the MJC Bazin in Nancy.
Friday 6th May, 6.30pm:
* Battacuda/Fanfare and, we hope, street theatre, followed by a march
on foot, bicycle and rollerskates.
* Drinks afterwards.
Saturday 7th May, 10.00am:
* Two workshops/debates: IT and Consumption
* Conference: The shrinking economy
* Team games
* Evening cabaret (9.00pm): Food and entertainment (juggling,
magic shows, music, etc)
Sunday 8th May, 11.00am:
* Four workshops/debates: Science & Technology, Energy, Transport
and Education
* Concert at 9.00pm.
The workshops/debates will be mainly an opportunity for an exchange of views
with the aim of proposing alternatives and experimentations and putting them
into practice here and now.
Cold dishes (including vegetarian) will be prepared by the collective kitchen
of the Casbah. These dishes and the Saturday evening meal will be free, but a
booking is required for the evening cabaret in order to get an idea of the
quantities needed so there will be no waste!
There will also be a children's corner.
