After much deliberation, anarchists and radicals in
Colorado and Wyoming are pleased to announce the birth
of The Rocky Mountain Resister, an anarchist/radical*
publication for our region.   The Resister is an
attempt to enliven the current anti-capitalist
activity going on in the region.  We feel like though
there are great projects, groups and individuals in
the area, not enough people know about them.  Also,
these communities tend to be isolated with little
cooperation or support going on between areas.

Finally, we feel that many voices are being
marginalized and generally unheard.  We intend to
change that.

What We Are Doing
Our Statement of Purpose is as follows:
1) To promote liberation and sustainable alternatives
to oppressive systems.
2) To provide a radical perspective on news and
activities in the Rocky Mountain region and beyond.
3) To encourage activity and cooperation between
radicals in the Rockies.

HELP!!
   In order for this paper to be a success we need
people actively involved.  We have a collective set up
to take care of nuts and bolts work and final
decisions on the paper, but because the region is so
large geographically we are encouraging people to
become "correspondents" for their area.

   The correspondent role is a very loose one and could
be as small as one person dropping a stack of papers
off at their local coffeeshop or as involved as a
collective writing, gathering and editing content.
Here is a list of just a few ways you can help:
-submissions (stories, editorials, community updates,
-action reportbacks, etc.)

-fundraisers
-subscriptions and donations
