Love and Rage was a revolutionary organization in the 1990's.
On Sunday Aug. 28th at 5pm -- Roy San Filippo, a former member of Love and
Rage and current member of Bring the Ruckus, will talk about the rise and
fall of Love and Rage, as well as Love and Rage's accomplishments and failures.
After the presentation there will be an open ended discussion on the
lessons that can be learned by us fighting for a better world.
In A New World in Our Hearts (AK Press 2003) San Filippo argues that
during the nearly ten years of its existance, Love and Rage played an
important role in carving out political space for anarchist organizations
in a milieu that has been dominated by individualit and lifestyle politics.
Come to this exciting discussion on the past and future of the
revolutionary anarchist organization.
