Many past Anarchist gatherings have ended up being either
drunkfests or endless meetings and discussions - not this one! ASR
2004 will be a weekend of networking, relaxing and FUN! for
Anarchists and our allies. A special focus of this gathering will be to
provide a friendly and safe space for children and families.
The gathering will take place August 20-22 in the beautiful town of
Del Norte, CO in a venue that a fellow anti-authoritarian is
graciously opening up. It needs some fixing up so cost for the
gathering is basically helping to repair some things.
Planning is just getting off the ground so join the list and give your
input. Some things that people have been talking about doing are
-anarchist soccer -cooperative games -bands of all genres
-skill-shares/workshops -local resistance history in del norte and
southwest colorado -networking with fellow anarchists and radicals
-radical parenting discussions -field trips to cool things around Del
Norte and lots of other things I can't think of right now. Once again
this is a family and kid-friendly event so bring everyone down!
