In order to ensure our voices are heard, two separate days of marches
are currently planned. These events are to be opening and closing
events for the protests against the DNC.
If your organization would like to participate in these coalition marches
either as a group or to speak/perform on the stages, please contact us.
We still have room for additional speakers/musicians at the rallies and
would like to have as much diversity in speakers and performers as possible.
On Monday, July 26 we will kick off convention week demanding an
"End to all Police Brutality, Prison Abuses, and the Patriot
Act" with a rally on Boston Common, a march to the Fleet Center,
and eventually to Government Center. Let's make it clear that we
do not accept the continued erosion of civil rights and the further
militarization of the police force.
On Thursday, July 29, we will march to demand "No Blood For Oil-
End All Occupations": an end to the Iraqi occupation and the return of
the troops. We will begin at Copley Square, and again march to the
Fleet Center, and then to Boston Common for the final rally. Let's
make our message clear that the continuation of this war is
unacceptable- under either party.
Bring your signs, banners, flags, puppets, and, above all, your spirit of
dissent!
