In Sao Paulo 1500 people, mostly punks, students
and anarchists, did a peaceful demosntration anti-ftaa
in the Paulista avenue (the main avenue of Sao Paulo).

They were violently repressed by the police who used
rubber bullets, tear gas, sticks, fire guns, etc., against
peaceful demonstrators. Not enough happy in repressing
the demonstrators, the police hunted them inside shops
and along other streets. Several demonstators were injured
and hardly beaten up(including indymedia journalists).
One girl were targeted in the eye by a rubber bullet.
61 demosntrators are still in jail. The demosntrators have
just one lawyer and need help. They will be charged with
a lot of fellonies.
