In this 8M we mark, once again, our fight for a feminist, anti-racist,
socialist and libertarian world. To build this world, the only way is
organized and autonomous popular struggle. ---- We are seeing, year
after year, our rights attacked, our freedoms being taken away, our
sisters being victims of violence and our territories being devastated
by the capitalist climate crisis. ---- Meanwhile, every two years, they
say we can elect someone who will repeal the laws that oppress us and
violate our bodies. We are asked to remain calm while our agendas are
reduced and negotiated in offices.
We, anarchist women, know that our rights will not be given by
politicians, businessmen or police officers. We need to take
responsibility for our liberation ourselves.
This is how our sisters achieved legal abortion in Argentina and Mexico:
building collectives, holding demonstrations and occupying public
buildings until wresting the right to one's own body from the hands of
the church, capital and the state.
For a trans-inclusive feminism!
In the name of a supposedly "radical" feminism, trans women have been
persecuted on social networks and in social movements. As anarchists, we
understand that there is nothing radical in defending theories that echo
those who want to control our bodies.
Radical is fighting against the system that kills trans and transvestite
women every day, whether through beatings or the denial of their most
basic rights, such as education, health and work.
To truly face the root of our problems, we need to build combative,
class-independent movements. Defend in residents' associations, unions,
social and cultural movements that only the popular struggle will bring
us freedom.
To revoke reforms, win rights and defend our territories from this
colonial, patriarchal and transphobic capitalism, we need to be together
and organized, from below and on the left.
