members of the Anarchist Federation of Catalonia, the FAC has decided to 
restructure and change its organizational system. ---- What changes?

or part of a collective, assembly or atheneum want to participate in the 
FAC and organize themselves with other libertarians, they can form a 
group and ask to participate in the FAC.

As an Individual it will be the same, but this time he will participate 
individually, in order to enhance his participation, responsibility and 
enhance the need to create his own group.

What do we mean by Affinity Group?

Affinity group as a group, usually small, with a strong relationship 
between members, from friendship, common projects, way of thinking or 
being at the same point or moment in life.

Why does it change?

The FAC has decided on this change due to the reduction of groups 
participating in the Federation. These have been leaving, not because 
they do not believe in the FAC, nor in the need to organize, but because 
the assemblies have been dissolved, the Athenaeum has closed, the 
collective has disappeared. There have also been "losses", because the 
entirety of the collective, assembly or Athenaeum was not clear about 
their participation and it was only part of the group that showed 
interest and effort, making militancy in their own assembly far-fetched.

For this reason, the organization model and the form of military service 
in the FAC have been changed.
It also has to do with the responsibility of each member of the FAC. 
Being part of the FAC is not to have another organization, but to 
organize part of the libertarian world and have a discourse that can 
reach more sectors of society and spread the libertarian ideal. We 
believe that struggles, projects and strategies must be coordinated, and 
tools, infrastructures and experiences must be shared. We want the 
participation of responsible members, who actively participate and 
militate. For this reason, the quotas have also been reformulated and a 
personal quota will be made that each group will decide how to do. It 
will be EUR5 at most per member, bearing in mind that it should not be a 
limiter for the entry or stay of people or Affinity Groups.

How to participate

If you want or want to participate in the FAC as an Individual or as an 
Affinity Group, you only have to get in touch on social networks, by 
mail, by the person or Group you are closest to or know.
